Tarati (, ), is a village in Adhi Union Council, Gujar Khan Tehsil, Rawalpindi District, Punjab, Pakistan, in the centre of the Pothohar cultural region. The area has considerable natural resources in the form of petroleum and natural gas. It is approximately 45 kilometres southeast of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Muktagacha () is an upazila of Mymensingh District. in the Division of Mymensingh Division, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It is known for confection, sweets which are made here, called "Monda". It is also known for the Rajbari of Brahmin family (a Muktagacha Zamindar Bari, Zamindar's residence) which is currently used as an educational institute, Shahid Shrity College. Etymology The previous name of Muktagacha was ''Binodbari''. When the Zamindars (kings) arrived from Natore, an inhabitant of the town, Muktaram Karmakar, presented them with a gold lamp-stand, locally called ''Gacha''. This pleased the Zamindars. They wanted to acknowledge the present and show respect to Muktaram, so they renamed the town to ''Muktagacha''. Geography Muktagacha is located at . It has a total area of 314.70 km2. Tekeeua Tarati (born 12 April 1971 in Tamana) is an I-Kiribati politician and entrepreneur, Minister for Information, Communications, Transport and Tourism development since July 2020. Managing Director of Triple Tee Enterprises (TTT), between 2006 and 2018 he served the Kiribati Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as Secretary, Vice-President and President (2012-2016), for maximum terms. When Matiota Kairo, the MP for Tamana, resigned in November 2018 for medical reasons, Tarati ran for by-election and was elected in March 2019 at the Maneaba ni Maungatabu. He joined the ruling Tobwaan Kiribati Party (TKP). In 2020, he was re-elected with more than 86% of votes. He was then nominated as chairman of TKP until the presidential election of 22 June 2020.
