Tank
A tank is an armoured fighting vehicle intended as a primary offensive weapon in front-line ground combat. Tank designs are a balance of heavy firepower, strong armour, and battlefield mobility provided by tracks and a powerful engine; their main armament is often mounted within a turret. They are a mainstay of modern 20th and 21st century ground forces and a key part of combined arms combat. Modern tanks are versatile mobile land weapons platforms whose main armament is a large- calibre tank gun mounted in a rotating gun turret, supplemented by machine guns or other ranged weapons such as anti-tank guided missiles or rocket launchers. They have heavy vehicle armour which provides protection for the crew, the vehicle's munition storage, fuel tank and propulsion systems. Tanche (family)
The Tanche family or Tank (other spellings are ''Tanch'', ''Tanke'', ''Tanck'', and ''Tancke'') is the name of one or more Danish nobility, Dano-Norwegian nobility, Norwegian noble families of Germans, German origin. One of those lines is from Haderslev. History There are several persons by the name Tanche and similar spellings in Denmark, Norway and Germany. The tradition says that a Germans, German by the name Tanche was ennobled by Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV of the Holy Roman Empire (reign: 1346–78). ''Ad Mare'' (Latin, "''To The Sea''") is the debut single album by South Korean girl group Nmixx. The single album was released by JYP Entertainment on February 22, 2022, and contains four tracks, containing lead single " O.O", B-side "Tank" (占), and instrumentals for both songs. Background and release On July 9, 2021, JYP Entertainment announced it would be debuting a new girl group in February 2022, the first since Itzy in 2019. On February 2, 2022, it was announced that the group would debut on February 22 with the release of ''Ad Mare''. Music Of Cowboy Bebop
The ''Cowboy Bebop'' anime series was accompanied by a number of soundtrack albums composed by Yoko Kanno and Seatbelts, a diverse band Kanno formed to create the music for the series, with a principal focus in jazz. The soundtrack was released in the American market by Victor Entertainment, a subsidiary of JVC Kenwood. Theme songs "Tank!" "Tank!" is the series' opening song. The song, written by Yoko Kanno and performed by Seatbelts, has an extensive alto saxophone solo played by Masato Honda, as well as a fill part at the end. The song is a big band jazz piece in a Latin-infused hard bop style with a rhythm section that combines a double bass and bongo drums. "Tank!" is primarily an instrumental piece, though it does feature some spoken male vocals (provided by long-time collaborator with Kanno, Tim Jensen) in the introductory portion of the song, thematically jazz in style. ''Emerson, Lake & Palmer'' is the debut studio album by English progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer. It was released in the United Kingdom by Island Records in November 1970, and in the United States by Cotillion Records in January 1971. After the group formed in the spring of 1970, they entered rehearsals and prepared material for an album which became a mix of original songs and rock arrangements of classical music. The album was recorded at Advision Studios in July 1970, when the band had yet to perform live. Lead vocalist and bassist/guitarist Greg Lake produced it. Upon release, the album went to No. 4 in the UK and No. 18 in the US. Lake's song " Lucky Man" was released as a single in 1970 and helped the group achieve radio airplay; it peaked at No. 48 in the US. Tank (band)
Tank (often stylized as TANK) is an English heavy metal band formed in 1980 by Algy Ward, a former member of The Damned. The original band is known as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Tank was often compared to Motörhead as both bands were trios fronted by singing bassists, and played a loose, almost punk-styled metal music with often colourful lyrics. After acrimonious legal and creative disputes, Algy Ward led one version of the group until his death on 17 March 2023, while guitarists Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans continued to lead another version of the band. History Their 1982 debut album, '' Filth Hounds of Hades'', was positively received by both punk and metal fans as well as most critics, regarded now as one of the best albums of the NWOBHM movement.
