Andrew Tallon
Andrew J. Tallon (12 March 1969 – 16 November 2018) was a Belgian-American art historian. He used lasers to create a precise model of Notre-Dame de Paris, among other buildings. Early life and education Tallon was born on 12 March 1969 in Leuven, Belgium to mother Mary Beth Tallon Vander Vennet and father Andrew F. Tallon. In the fourth grade, Tallon lived in Paris while his mother worked on a dissertation in theater history. He attended high school in the US, graduating from Shorewood High School in Wisconsin. Tallon attended Princeton University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a degree in music in 1991. While enrolled, however, he took every class taught by Robert Mark—an engineer specializing in Gothic architecture and construction. Dale Tallon
Michael "Dale" Tallon (born October 19, 1950) is a Canadian ice hockey executive and former player. He played in the NHL for ten years as a defenceman for the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Black Hawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Following his retirement as a player, Tallon began a broadcasting career with the Blackhawks lasting 16 years. In 1998, he joined the front office as director of player personnel before working his way up to general manager. Serving in the latter capacity from 2005 to 2009, he helped rebuild the team into a Stanley Cup winner in 2010, at which point he had been demoted to assistant general manager. In May 2010, he was named general manager for the Panthers for the 2010–11 NHL season, serving in that position until August 2020. Don Tallon
Donald Tallon (17 February 1916 – 7 September 1984) was an Australian cricketer who played 21 Test matches as a wicket-keeper between 1946 and 1953. He was widely regarded by his contemporaries as Australia's finest ever wicket-keeper and one of the best in Test history, with an understated style, an ability to anticipate the flight, length and spin of the ball and an efficient stumping technique. Tallon toured England as part of Don Bradman's '' Invincibles'' of 1948 and was recognised as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1949 for his performances during that season. Gerrit Thomas "Gary" Tallon (born 5 September 1973) is an Irish former professional footballer who played in midfield, principally for Mansfield Town. Career Born in Drogheda, he was a trainee at Blackburn Rovers. However, he failed to play a first team game for Blackburn and was released on a free transfer in 1996, moving to Scottish Premier Division side Kilmarnock. He made his debut for Kilmarnock on 10 August 1996 in a 2–1 victory against Hibernian. Jeff Tallon is a Canadian contemporary artist who presently lives and works in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is noted for synthesizing mobile technology with traditional oil painting and publicly displayed Canada’s first QR Code painting at the 2010 Toronto International Art Fair. Biography Tallon was born in St. Catharines, Ontario. He attended high school at E.L. Crossley and in his final year he co-opted under the tutelage of Ken Cosgrove, a.k.a. William John Stephenson Tallon RVM (12 November 1935 – 23 November 2007), also known as Billy Tallon or Backstairs Billy, was a steward who worked for the British royal family, and was a member of the Queen Mother's staff at Clarence House in London.
