Taekwondo At The 2002 Asian Games
Taekwondo took place from October 10 to October 13 at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea. Men's and women's competitions held in eight weight categories for each. All competition took place at the Gudeok Gymnasium. Each country except the host nation was limited to having 6 men and 6 women. Gudeok Gymnasium
The Busan Gudeok Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Busan, South Korea. The stadium is used mostly for association football, football matches and can accommodate 12,349 spectators. The venue opened in September 1928 as Busan Municipal Stadium (). During the 1988 Summer Olympics, it hosted some of the Football at the 1988 Summer Olympics, football matches. It was also the main venue for the 1997 East Asian Games, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics and football competitions.
