Tacata' (alternative writings Tacatà and Tacatá) is an international hit released in 2012 by Italian duo " Tacabro", early known as Romano & Sapienza, featuring Cuban singer "Martínez Rodríguez", known later as Ruly MC, as main vocalist. The music was composed by the Italian DJs, while the lyrics by the Cuban rapper. It was released through 541 / N.E.W.S. labels in Italy, France and Sweden, and through Sony Music in Denmark. "Tacata'" was originally a hit in Italy and was credited to "Romano & Sapienza featuring Rodriguez" reaching #4 on the Italian Singles Charts. The same name was used for the initial Swiss record. Releases on other European charts were credited to the act name "Tacabro" and charted as such in France, Denmark and Sweden. The song has gained recognition in North America, reaching #83 in Canada where it was the most popular outside Europe. Tacabro
Tacabro is an Italian dance music trio from Catania, Sicily, initially made up of Italian DJs and record producers Mario Romano and Salvatore "Salvo" Sapienza, and later also of Cuban singer Martínez Rodríguez, better known as Ruly MC. Mario Romano (born 28 November 1984) and Salvo Sapienza (born 21 February 1986) started working in Italian nightclubs as DJs, and in the spring of 2008 they formed the duo known as Romano & Sapienza, playing mostly electro/tribal sounds. Their first break as Romano & Sapienza was with their first single "Judas Brass", released that year for "Hollister Records". However they are best known for the hit " Tacata'", released in 2011 in Italy and credited to "Romano & Sapienza featuring Rodriguez", the latter being Cuban rapper Ruly MC, mentioned before. MAX (band)
MAX is a Japanese female vocal group. The name is an acronym for "musical active experience". The original members of MAX made their musical debut as members of the Super Monkey's along with lead vocalist Namie Amuro. They branched out on their own in 1995, becoming stars in their own right with selling several million albums and a string of consecutive top 20 singles from 1996 to 2000. Their lead singer, Mina, left the group in 2002 due to pregnancy and was replaced by Aki Maeda who assumed the stage name Aki. Aki left the group in August 2008 to pursue a solo career. Gabriele "Gabry" Ponte (; born 20 April 1973) is an Italian musician, DJ and producer, best known as a member of Eiffel 65. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created in 1995 on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
