The TVB Star Awards Malaysia () is an annual awards ceremony honoring Cantonese programming achievements in Malaysia. It is produced by TVB Entertainment News, with Astro and MY FM as media partners. The ceremony was previously known as the My Astro On Demand Favourites Awards (), which succeeded the Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards (). The Malaysian television channel Astro Wah Lai Toi, presented by Astro, airs Hong Kong television programmes produced by TVB. In 2005, Astro organised its first awards ceremony, the 2004 Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards, presenting awards to Hong Kong actors and actresses for their acting achievements in TVB television dramas. TVB Entertainment News took over the production of the awards series in 2013, renaming it The TVB Star Awards. It has since become an annual event, and is regarded as a prelude to Hong Kong's TVB Anniversary Awards. ''Life Made Simple'' (Traditional Chinese: 阿旺新傳) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in October 2005. The series is shown to celebrate TVB's 38th Anniversary. The series is an indirect sequel to 2002's '' Square Pegs'' ( 戇夫成龍). The main cast features Roger Kwok, Jessica Hsuan, and Leila Tong, returning from the original series, and the new cast includes Bosco Wong and Paul Chun. Lily Leung Shun-Yin (; 7 January 1929 – 13 August 2019) was a Hong Kong actress. Born in Hong Kong Leung attended Belilios Public School. Career Leung started her acting career in 1957. Leung appeared for Rediffusion Television (1957 to 1968 then from 1976 to 1982), ATV (1983 to 1988) as well as TVB (1968 to 1975 and again from 1989 to 2017). In 1988 she appeared in Bloodsport as Mrs Tanaka. Her husband was at risk for heart disease, and she publicly supported organizations working to cure it. Leung is credited with over 15 films. Li Shing-cheong
Lee Shing-cheong (; born 11 October 1957) is a Hong Kong TVB actor. He also goes by the name Henry Lee. Career Acting Lee graduated from the 8th TVB Training Class in August 1979. He landed his first role in Hong Kong '81,http://bbs.ent.163.com/bbs/tvb/96711279.html one of TVB's long-running series, and was notable for the role of Michael in ''Looking Back In Anger'', one of TVB's most popular dramas to date.
