Boyz N The Hood
''Boyz n the Hood'' is a 1991 American coming-of-age hood drama film written and directed by John Singleton in his feature directorial debut. It stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Morris Chestnut, Ice Cube, Laurence Fishburne, Nia Long, Regina King, and Angela Bassett. ''Boyz n the Hood'' follows Tre Styles (Gooding Jr.), who is sent to live with his father Furious Styles (Fishburne) in South Central Los Angeles, surrounded by the neighborhood's booming gang culture. The film's title is a double entendre: a play on the term boyhood and a reference to the 1987 Eazy-E rap song of the same name, written by Ice Cube. Singleton initially developed the film as a requirement for application to film school in 1986 and sold the script to Columbia Pictures upon graduation in 1990. During writing, he drew inspiration from his own life and from the lives of people he knew and insisted he direct the project. Principal photography began in September 1990 and was filmed on location from October ...

Tempore Regis Eduardi
''Tempore'' (abbreviated to temp.) in historical literature, denotes a period during which a person whose exact lifespan is unknown, was known to have been alive or active, or some other date which is not exactly known, usually given as the reign of a monarch. The word is Latin, being the ablative singular of the noun ''tempus, temporis'', "time", thus meaning "in the time (of)". It should be followed by a name in the genitive case. The theoretical full form might be ''vixit tempore Regis Henrici Primi'' ("he/she lived in the time of King Henry the First") (i.e. 1100-1135). The best-known occurrence is in the Domesday Book of 1086, where the phrase ''Tempore Regis Eduardi'' (nominative case ''Rex Eduardus''), meaning "in the time of King Edward (the Confessor)" appears in the entry for almost every manor, abbreviated as TRE. It thus signifies the date range 1042–1066. It is useful in historical literature because the names of many historical persons appear in surviving docum ...

TRE (computing)
TRE is an open-source library for pattern matching in text, which works like a regular expression engine with the ability to do approximate string matching. It was developed by Ville Laurikari and is distributed under a 2-clause BSD-like license. The library is written in C and provides functions which allow using regular expressions for searching over input text lines. The main difference from other regular expression engines is that TRE can match text fragments in an approximate way, that is, supposing that text could have some number of typos. Features TRE uses extended regular expression syntax with the addition of "directions" for matching preceding fragment in approximate way. Each of such directions specifies how many typos are allowed for this fragment. Approximate matching is performed in a way similar to Levenshtein distance, which means that there are three types of typos 'recognized': TRE allows specifying of ''cost'' for each of three typos type independently.
