Fatal Bazooka
Fatal Bazooka () is a French comedy rap character by Michaël Youn, and a former band including himself, Vincent Desagnat and Benjamin Morgaine. The act originated in a 2002 TV show which its members hosted at the time. Fatal Bazooka is also the name of the fictitious singer of the group, played by Youn himself. Hit singles "Fous ta cagoule" The first single by Fatal Bazooka, "Fous ta cagoule" ("put your balaclava on"), transposed the urban style to the snow-covered mountains of Savoy. Background and writing The group transposes the urban style into the setting of the snow-covered mountains of Savoy, and caricatures certain French rappers there. "Mauvaise foi nocturne (la réponse)" (French for "Nocturnal dishonesty (the response)") is a 2006 song recorded by French act Fatal Bazooka, led by actor, singer and comedian Michael Youn. Pascal Obispo participated also in the vocals under the name of Vitoo. The song is the eleventh track on the album '' T'As Vu ?'', and was released as second single in the first days of March 2007. It was as successful as "Fous ta cagoule" in terms of chart positions, becoming a number-one hit in France and Belgium (Wallonia). Song information The song is a parody of Diam's' song "Confessions nocturnes", recorded with Vitaa as featuring, and included on the album ''Dans ma bulle''. Michaël Youn portrayed Diam's, while Pascal Obispo plays the role of Vitaa. In Fatal Bazooka's music video, there are also many references to the original one by Diam's. Pascal Michel Obispo (; born 8 January 1965) is a French singer-songwriter. Biography Pascal Obispo, son of Max Obispo (a former Bordeaux Girondins football player of Basque origin) and Nicole Guérin (originally from Angers), was born on 8 January 1965 in Bergerac. Yelle is a French band founded by lead singer and namesake Yelle (Julie Budet) and GrandMarnier (Jean-François Perrier). A third member, Tepr (Tanguy Destable), joined the band before the recording of their debut album. Yelle and GrandMarnier began working on music together in 2000.
