Southern Uzbek Language
Southern Uzbek or Uzbeki ( Uzbek: اوزبیکچه, اوزبیکی, اوزبیک تورکچه) is the southern variant of the Uzbek language spoken in Afghanistan and Pakistan by the Uzbek people. It has up to 6 million speakers and is written using the Perso-Arabic or Nastaliq writing system in contrast to the language variant of Uzbekistan. Southern Uzbek is intelligible with the Northern Uzbek spoken in Uzbekistan. However it has slightly more loan words from Farsi, in which many Southern Uzbek speakers are proficient and few loanwords from Pashto. Southern Uzbek Alphabet Southern Uzbek is written using the Perso-Arabic writing system called ''Arab Yozuv'' ("Arab Script"). Pakistan is a multilingual country with dozens of languages spoken as first languages. The majority of Pakistan's languages belong to the Indo-Iranian group of the Indo-European language family. Urdu is the national language and the lingua franca of Pakistan, and while sharing official status with English, it is the preferred and dominant language used for inter-communication between different ethnic groups. Agglutinative Languages
An agglutinative language is a type of synthetic language with morphology that primarily uses agglutination. Pashto
Pashto (,; , ) is an Eastern Iranian language in the Indo-European language family. It is known in historical Persian literature as Afghani (). ''Nastaliq'' (; fa, , ), also romanized as ''Nastaʿlīq'', is one of the main calligraphic hands used to write the Perso-Arabic script in the Persian and Urdu languages, often used also for Ottoman Turkish poetry, rarely for Arabic. ''Nastaliq'' developed in Iran from '' naskh'' beginning in the 13th century and remains very widely used in Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan and as a minority script in India and other countries for written poetry and as a form of art. The Arabic script is the writing system used for Arabic and several other languages of Asia and Africa.
