Goidelic Languages
The Goidelic ( ) or Gaelic languages (; ; ) form one of the two groups of Insular Celtic languages, the other being the Brittonic languages. Goidelic languages historically formed a dialect continuum stretching from Ireland through the Isle of Man to Scotland. There are three modern Goidelic languages: Irish ('), Scottish Gaelic ('), and Manx ('). Manx died out as a first language in the 20th century but has since been revived to some degree. Seamus Blake
Seamus Blake (born December 8, 1970) is a British-born Canadian tenor saxophonist. Early life and education Blake was born in London, England and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His mother introduced him to jazz when he was a child and he later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Career Upon graduation, he moved to New York City. In February 2002, he won the Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition. He currently plays with his own quintet (featuring David Kikoski, Lage Lund, Bill Stewart, and Matt Clohesy) and has been a regular with the Mingus Big Band as well as many other New York musicians. Jonathan "Seamus" Blackley (born 1968) is an American video game designer and former agent with Creative Artists Agency representing video game creators. He is best known for creating and designing the original Xbox in 2001. Career After entering Tufts University to study electrical engineering, Blackley switched to study physics and graduated in 1990, . As an undergraduate, he published his first paper in the ''Journal of Magnetic Resonance''. After college, he studied high energy physics at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, until the Superconducting Supercollider project was cancelled in 1993. Séamus Barron
James Barron (1946 – 7 February 2022), known as Séamus Barron, was an Irish hurler who played for club side Rathnure and at inter-county level with the Wexford senior hurling team. He usually lined out as a forward. Career Barron first appeared on the inter-county scene as part of the minor hurling team which won Wexford’s first ever Leinster and All-Ireland titles in 1963. He played at full-forward in the All-Ireland final against Limerick, scoring 1–1. Having progressed to under-21 level, Barron lined out in three successive All-Ireland finals. He claimed his sole winners' medal in the grade in 1965 after a defeat of Tipperary. At senior level, Barron made nine appearances on the Wexford team between 1966 and 1970. James I (late July 1394 – 21 February 1437) was List of Scottish monarchs, King of Scots from 1406 until his assassination in 1437.
