Szymon Woźniak
Szymon Woźniak (born 6 May 1993) is a Polish Motorcycle speedway, speedway rider. Career He rode for his hometown club, Polonia Bydgoszcz in the Speedway Ekstraliga up to 2015 before moving to Sparta Wrocław for the 2016 season. He rode for the Poland national under-21 speedway team, Poland U-21 national team and won the Polish Under-21 Championship in 2014. He was part of the Leicester Lions team in the British Elite League (speedway), Elite League in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he won the Polish Individual Speedway Championship, Polish Championship, beating Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Patryk Dudek, and Jaroslaw Hampel in the final. In 2023, he was a member of the Polish team that won the European Team Speedway Championship and paired up with Przemysław Pawlicki to become the European Pairs Speedway Championship, European Pairs champion. Tuchola
Tuchola (; ) is a town in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in northern Poland. The Pomeranian town, which is the seat of Tuchola County, had a population of 13,418 . 2023 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2023 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 29th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 78th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the second series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. Bartosz Zmarzlik was the defending champion, having won the 2022 title. Zmarzlik successfully retained the title, winning a fourth championship, despite being disqualified from round nine in Denmark. He beat Fredrik Lindgren by eight points, with Martin Vaculík securing the bronze medal. During the championships, Zmarzlik secured four Grand Prix wins after the Latvian Grand Prix, which equalled the 22 career Grand Prix wins of fellow Pole Tomasz Gollob. 2024 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2024 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 30th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 79th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the third series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. A new sprint race was introduced at selected Grand Prix during the qualifying session, with the fastest rider in each qualifying session progressing to a single race for extra points. The idea behind the sprint race was similar to that brought into the Formula One, whereby the qualifying sessions were given more importance. Bartosz Zmarzlik successfully defended the title, which was his third in a row and a fifth overall. Robert Lambert took second place with Fredrik Lindgren in third. The 2024 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification or GP Challenge was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings held during 2023 to determine the riders that qualified for the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix. The series consisted of four qualifying rounds at Žarnovica, Lonigo, Debrecen and Abensberg and the Grand Prix Challenge at Gislaved. Preliminary qualification events included the Grand Prix qualifier in Denmark and the Golden Helmet/Grand Prix qualifier in Poland. Patryk Dudek (; born 20 June 1992) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who is a member of the Poland national speedway team, Polish national speedway team. Career Dudek's father, Sławomir Dudek, Sławomir, was a professional rider and Patryk gained his speedway licence in 2008. Dudek won 2009 and 2010 Team Speedway Junior European Championship, Team U-19 European Champion and 2009 Individual Speedway Junior Polish Championship, 2009 Individual Under-21 Polish Champion titles. In June 2014, Dudek tested positive for a banned substance following a Polish league match against Stal Gorzów.
