Swedish Army Electrical And Mechanical Engineers' Corps
The Swedish Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers' Corps (, TygK) was an administrative corps of the Swedish Army established in 1958 consisting of electrical engineers and mechanical engineers. This administrative corps had over 1,400 members and played a crucial role in managing military technical personnel. The engineers held officer ranks, masters held warrant officer ranks, and technicians held non-commissioned officer ranks. They underwent extensive training, and promotions were subject to council approval. In 1983, the corps merged into the Swedish Army Technical Corps (ATK), marking the end of its standalone existence. Fanjunkare (OR-7) is a Swedish military rank above Översergeant and below Överfanjunkare. The word 'Fanjunkare' is derived from German 'Fahnenjunker', and denotes a standard-bearer, hence 'Colour Sergeant'. History ''Fanjunkare'' means "noble standard bearer" and has been used as the (highest) non-commissioned officer rank from 1837, when it finally replaced the rank of '' fältväbel''. Bo Ehnbom
Bo Karl Georg Ehnbom (28 March 1899 – 13 February 1985) was a Swedish engineer. From 1947, Ehnbom served as the head of the special technical section at the Weapons Office within the Royal Swedish Army Materiel Administration's Ordnance Department. In 1948, with the formation of the Swedish Army Corps of Engineers, he became a first-grade army director, holding the rank of lieutenant colonel.
