Swami (1977 Film)
''Swami'' is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language romance drama film directed by Basu Chatterjee and produced by Jaya Chakravarty. The film stars Shabana Azmi, Vikram, Girish Karnad and Utpal Dutt. Hema Malini and Dharmendra made guest appearances together in the film. The film's music is by Rajesh Roshan. The film was shot in location in Dahisar, Mumbai and the Dahisar River Banks. Basu Chatterjee
Basu Chatterjee (10 January 1927 – 4 June 2020) was an Indian film director and screenwriter in Hindi Cinema. Through the 1970s and 1980s, he became associated with what came to be known as middle cinema or middle-of-the-road cinema filmmakers, such as Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Bhattacharya, whom he assisted on Teesri Kasam (1966). Like their films, his films dealt with light-hearted stories of middle-class families often in urban settings, focusing on marital and love relationships. Dheeraj Kumar
Dheeraj Kochar, professionally known as Dheeraj Kumar (born 1 October 1944) is an Indian actor, television producer and director. He started Creative Eye Limited, a television production house in 1986. He has acted in both Bollywood and Punjabi films, including '' Sargam'' (1979), '' Roti Kapada Aur Makaan'' (1974) and '' Beharoopia'' (1971). Career In 1965, Kumar was one of the finalists in a talent show organized by the United Producers and ''Filmfare''.
