Suzuki T20
The Suzuki T20 is a motorcycle with a , two-stroke engine, two-stroke, straight-twin engine, twin-cylinder engine, and six speed gearbox. It was first manufactured in 1965 (but introduced as a 1966 model) and was produced until the end of the 1968 model year. Production peaked at more than 5000 units per month. It was superseded by an updated version which was designated the Suzuki T250-1, T250-1. In the United States, the bike was sold as the Hustler, a name also used by Suzuki for the Suzuki Hustler kei car since 2014. Marketing In the UK the T20 was called the 'Super Six' which refers to its - at the time - very unusual six speed transmission. In that era most motorcycles had only four speeds or, rarely, five speeds. In the USA the bike was designated the X6 with the advertising department tacking on the "Hustler" name. Suzuki T500
The Suzuki T500, variously known as the Suzuki T500/Five, Suzuki Charger, Suzuki Cobra and the Suzuki Titan during its model life, is a , two-stroke, twin-cylinder motorcycle produced by the Japanese Suzuki company between 1968 and 1975. The model was developed as a larger version of the Suzuki T20 which was intended to compete with the large-capacity British twins in the American market. When introduced it was Suzuki's largest displacement machine. Overengineering of the engine led to the bike gaining a reputation for reliability, and being virtually bulletproof. A total of over 100,000 units were sold during the model's production. A sports motorcycle, sports bike, or sport bike is a motorcycle designed and optimized for speed, acceleration, braking, and cornering on asphalt concrete race tracks and roads. Manx Grand Prix
The Manx Grand Prix motorcycle races are held on the Isle of Man TT Course (or ' Mountain Circuit') annually, usually at the end of August and early September. Traditionally the event has been staged over a two week period but this was reduced in 2022 to nine days. 2023 saw the 100th Anniversary of the event. The MGP or Manx (as it is more commonly known) is considered to be the amateur rider's alternative and a learning experience for the Isle of Man TT races held in May/June. The event differs from the TT in that it does not cater for sidecars. A 'Classic TT' race category for historic racing machines was added in 2013 as part of the Manx Government Department of Economic Development's expansion to create what is termed ''Festival of Motorcycling'' to breathe new life into the event. Classic Racing
The term Classic Racing in the United Kingdom is generally accepted as motorcycle racing as defined under the rules and or auspices of the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC). This was established in 1981 and mostly caters for solos and sidecars manufactured in the period 1945–1972. Motorcycles from an earlier era, including a Pre-1935 class, are raced by the Vintage Motor Cycle Club (VMCC). The VMCC race classes are mostly for Pre-1963 bikes. The Mountain Circuit-'Manx Grand Prix' The Manx Grand Prix, held on the Isle of Man, is considered by Classic racers worldwide as the ultimate classic racing event.
