Surrender (Maggie Rogers Album)
''Surrender'' is the second studio album by American pop singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers, released on July 29, 2022 by Debay Sounds and Capitol Records. It follows the release of her 2019 debut studio album, '' Heard It in a Past Life''. The album features a couple of contributions from notable singers. The track "Shatter" features Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine providing additional vocals and playing tambourine, and "I've Got a Friend" features Clairo and Claud speaking. Background and promotion Rogers teased recording sessions for her forthcoming second studio album throughout 2021 into early 2022. Maggie Rogers
Margaret Debay Rogers (born April 25, 1994) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer from Easton, Maryland. Her big break came when her song "Alaska" was played to Pharrell Williams during a master class at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2019. She graduated from Harvard Divinity School in May 2022. ''Under the Radar'' is an American music magazine that features interviews with accompanying photo-shoots. Each issue includes opinion and commentary of the indie music scene as well as reviews of books, DVDs, and albums. The magazine posts web-exclusive interviews and reviews on its website. Claud Mintz, known professionally as Claud, is an American bedroom pop singer-songwriter from the suburbs of Chicago. Claud is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They are known for some of their songs "Soft Spot" and "Wish You Were Gay". History Claud began releasing music under the pseudonym Toast, releasing an EP in 2018.
