Sunday Karimi
Sunday Steve Karimi is a Nigerian politician and senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Kogi State. Karimi is the Chairman of the Committee on Senate Services. From 2011 to 2019, Karimi was the member representing Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro constituency in the House of Representatives (Nigeria), House of Representatives. In October 2023, Karimi explained in an interview with Channels TV that the Senate needed to buy imported Sport Utility Vehicles for its 109 members because "Most of our roads are terribly bad." When challenged by interviewer Seun Okinbaloye, he defended his position by saying, "Somebody that is a minister has more than three Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Cruisers, Toyota Prado, Prado, and other vehicles, and you are not asking them questions; why us?" SIM (Christian Organization)
SIM is an international, interdenominational Evangelical Christian Mission (Christian), mission organization. It was established in 1893 by its three founders, Walter Gowans and Rowland Bingham of Canada and Thomas Kent of the United States. The initials originally stood for "Soudan Interior Mission," Soudan being an older spelling of the Sudan region of West Africa. After various name changes and mergers, the mission simply goes by "SIM" today. In French-speaking countries it is known as "Société Internationale Missionnaire." Ẹgbẹ Mẹkun, popularly called Ẹgbẹ, is a historic town located in the Yagba West local government area of Kogi State, Nigeria, West Africa.
