Suhasini Maniratnam (; born 15 August 1961) is an Indian actress who works in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. Early life Suhasini's paternal cousins Anu Hasan, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan have also since become actors. Suhasini attended the Municipal Elementary School in Paramakudi, before moving to Madras aged 12 to live with her uncle Kamal Haasan and her grandmother. Film career As an actress Suhasini made her film debut in 1980 with the Tamil movie '' Nenjathai Killathe''. For her first movie, she won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. Suhasini Mulay
Suhasini Mulay (born 20 November 1950) is an Indian actress in Assamese, Bollywood and Marathi films as well as television. She won five National Film Awards. Early life and education Suhasini was born in a Marathi-speaking family in Patna where she spent the early part of her childhood. She lost her father when she was only three and was brought up by her mother, noted documentary filmmaker and film historian Vijaya Mulay. Suhasini was attracted to film because of her mother. Personal life Mulay was in an extended live-in relationship that ended in 1990. On 16 January 2011 she got married at Arya Samaj to a physicist, Prof. Atul Gurtu. Suhasini is an Indian actress, who has predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Career Suhasini hails from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, India. Her acting debut was B. Suhasini Das
Suhasini Das (; 1915 - 30 May 2009) was an anti-British activist, social worker and politician from Bangladesh. She was a member of the Indian National Congress and an important figure in East Bengal, before, during and after Partition. Biography Das was born in 1915 in Jagannathpur village in Sunamganj, Sylhet district, Assam Province. Her parents were Parimohan and Shobha Roy; she had two younger brothers and two younger sisters. She was married aged 18 to a businessman, Kumud Chandra Das, who owned the Kuti-Chand Press. Career She turned her house into a centre for thread-making and charkha. In order to fund this she used the wealth inherited after the death of her husband. Suhasini Ganguly (3 February 1909 – 23 March 1965) was an Indian woman freedom fighter who participated in the Indian independence movement. Early life Ganguly was born on 3 February 1909 in Khulna, Bengal, British India to Abinashchandra Ganguly and Sarala Sundara Devi. Their family was from Bikrampur, Dhaka, Bengal. She passed matriculation in 1924 from Dhaka Eden School. While studying Intermediate of Arts, she got a teacher's job at a deaf and dumb school and went to Kolkata. Suhasini Chattopadhyay (also known as Suhasini Nambiar; 1902 – 26 November 1973) was an Indian communist leader. Biography Chattopadhyay was one of eight children of Aghore Nath Chattopadhyay and Barada Sundari Debi. She was the sister of Indian National Congress President Sarojini Naidu. In 1920 she married journalist A. C. N. Nambiar in Madras when she was 17. They separated soon due to Nambiar's affair with his secretary, Eva Geissler. At Cobrapost she conducted Operation Duryodhana, aired on Aaj Tak news channel in India on 12 December 2005, wherein she bribed eleven members of the Indian Parliament to ask questions in Parliament that were ostensibly meant to be lobbying for small scale industries.
