Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Barclay Mowlem was an Australian construction company that traded from 1957 until 2006. History Barclay Bros was established in 1957 in Brisbane by brothers Don and Ian Barclay. The company grew to become one of the largest construction firms in Queensland. In 1958, it expanded internationally by securing a contract to construct a hospital in Madang, Papua New Guinea. Bob Hawke College
Bob Hawke College is a public high school in the state of Western Australia, Australia and situated in the suburb of Subiaco, Western Australia. The school opened on 3 February 2020 with 250 Year 7 students, and The school integrates the playing surface of the former Subiaco Oval stadium, which was demolished in December 2019, into its campus. The refurbished oval was open to students in May 2020, and to the general public the following month. High Wycombe Railway Station, Perth
High Wycombe railway station is a Transperth commuter rail station in Perth, Western Australia. The station is the eastern terminus of the Airport line, Perth, Airport line and was one of three stations built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project. The station was originally known as Forrestfield station during planning and construction. The contract for the Forrestfield–Airport Link, which consists of of twin bored tunnels and three new stations, was awarded to Salini Impregilo and NRW Holdings, NRW Pty Ltd in April 2016. High Wycombe station itself was constructed above ground, with the line entering a tunnel just north of the station. The Midland line is a suburban rail service on the Transperth network in Perth, Western Australia. It runs on the Eastern Railway through Perth's eastern suburbs and connects Midland with Perth. Travelling from Midland, the trains terminate at Fremantle on the Fremantle line. Midland railway station is the terminus of the Midland line in Perth. Western Australia. It is operated by Transperth and is connected with the feeder bus services that utilise the adjacent bus terminal in Midland. History Midland station was opened on 8 October 1968 by Minister for Transport & Railways Ray O'Connor as a replacement for Midland Junction station when the main Eastern Railway was being converted to dual gauge. Fremantle Railway Station
Fremantle railway station is the terminus of Transperth's Fremantle line in Western Australia. History The original Fremantle station opened in Cliff Street on 1 March 1881 as the terminus of the Eastern Railway to Guildford via Perth. As the Eastern Railway was extended, its importance grew. It became an important hub for gold miners arriving in Western Australia via ship and then travelling to the Yilgarn and Eastern Goldfields when the line opened to Kalgoorlie in 1896. In 1907, a new station and marshalling yards were established 300 metres to the north-east on the site of the former Fremantle Railway Workshops to better service the newly constructed Fremantle Harbour.
