Su Xiongfeng
Su Xiongfeng (, born 21 March 1987) is a PR China, Chinese track and field athlete who competes in the long jump. He became the Asian champion at the 2011 Asian Athletics Championships, Asian Championships and was the silver medallist at the 2010 Asian Games. His personal best jump of 8.27 metres is the List of Asian records in athletics, Asian indoor record. Born in Shunde District, Guangdong, Su became interested in the long jump around 2002 and took part in high school and university competitions. While attending Huazhong University of Science and Technology, he won the 2007 national universities title. At the 2007 Chinese City Games (China's top junior-level event), he saw off both Zhang Xiaoyi and Li Jinzhe to claim the title with his first ever jump over eight metres (8.07 m). Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping and throwing. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, cross-country running, and racewalking. The results of racing events are decided by finishing position (or time, where measured), while the jumps and throws are won by the athlete that achieves the highest or furthest measurement from a series of attempts. The simplicity of the competitions, and the lack of a need for expensive equipment, makes athletics one of the most common types of sports in the world. 2009 National Games Of China
The 11th National Games of China were held in various cities in Shandong from October 16 to October 28, 2009. Represented were 33 sports, 43 disciplines and 362 events, including 4 winter sports which were held in Shenyang, Changchun and Qingdao between January and April 2009. In all, a total of 1241 medals were awarded. The host province of Shandong came first on the medals table with 63 gold, 40 silver and 43 bronze. The games saw the triumphant return from injury for Olympic 110m hurdles champion Liu Xiang. Marcin Starzak (born 20 October 1985 in Kraków) is a Polish long jumper. He finished sixth at the 2007 European Indoor Championships in Athletics, 2007 European Indoor Championships and seventh at the 2008 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2008 World Indoor Championships.
