"Strutter" is a song by the American rock band Kiss, released in 1974 on their self-titled debut album, ''Kiss''. It was the third single released from the album and failed to chart. "Strutter" is one of the few Kiss songs written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley together. Stanley wrote new lyrics to "Stanley the Parrot", a song whose music was composed by Simmons. Strutter (TV Series)
''Strutter'' is a television series that was broadcast on MTV in Europe. It stars Paul Kaye as American lawyer Mike Strutter and Thaila Zucchi as his wife. The show focuses on clips of people getting hurt, Strutter making fun of music videos of indie bands, emo bands and boy bands, a German couple who like to mix extreme sports with sexual intercourse, and mock commercials promoting fictitious ''"''Struttergear''"'' merchandise. The show was produced by the Objective Productions comedy office, where ''Peep Show'' was made. The character of Mike Strutter originally appeared in a Dennis Pennis video release named ''Dennis Pennis RIP: Too Rude to Live'' in which he "killed off " the Pennis character. Kaye had wanted to do something with the character for years, so he and comedy writer Paul Garner developed a format, with Garner writing the series and appearing as an actor in it. Allison Anders
Allison Anders (born November 16, 1954) is an American independent film director whose films include ''Gas Food Lodging'', ''Mi Vida Loca'' and ''Grace of My Heart''. Anders has collaborated with fellow UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television graduate Kurt Voss and has also worked as a television director. Anders' films have been shown at the Cannes International Film Festival and at the Sundance Film Festival. She has been awarded a MacArthur Genius Grant as well as a Peabody Award. Early life Anders was born in Ashland, Kentucky, to mother Alberta "Rachel" Anders (née Steed) and father Robert "Bob" Anders. She has four sisters, one of whom, Luanna Anders, starred in her first film, ''Border Radio.'' ''Time Bandits'' is a 1981 British fantasy adventure film co-written, produced, and directed by Terry Gilliam. It stars Sean Connery, John Cleese, Shelley Duvall, Ralph Richardson, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm, Michael Palin, Peter Vaughan and David Warner. The Sopwith Strutter was a British single- or two-seat multi-role biplane aircraft of the First World War.Lake 2002, p. 40. The Texas State University Strutters, more simply known as the Strutters, are an American collegiate dance team from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. They are the first American Precision Dance Team to be founded at a four-year university, and are currently the largest team of its kind in the United States. They have performed nationally and internationally in twenty-six countries spanning four continents, and are the first U.S. dance team to perform in the People's Republic of China. Wardrum is a heavy / power metal band based in Greece, formed in the summer of 2010. History They were formed in Thessaloniki, Greece, by drummer Stergios Kourou, along with guitarist Kosta Vreto and bass player Kostas Scandalis (all three of them members of progressive metal band Horizon's End).
