Street Of Dreams (musical)
''Street of Dreams'' was a musical with music and lyrics by Trisha Ward and co-written with Damon Rochefort. It was directed by John Stephenson. It was based on the television series ''Coronation Street'' and the 2011 album ''Coronation Street: Rogues, Angels, Heroes and Fools''. The show was originally scheduled to begin on 21 March 2012 at the Manchester Arena; however, due to the intricacy of scale involved, the opening date of the production was delayed until 9 May. The show was postponed after two performances and poor reviews. Stars including Julie Goodyear and Kevin Kennedy (actor), Kevin Kennedy joined Paul O'Grady in saying they had not been paid, with the two production companies behind the musical, Reckless Entertainment and Street of Dreams Ltd, being put into administration. Trisha Ward
Trisha Ward (born 29 December 1972, Cleveland, England, Cleveland, England) is an English composer and lyricist, best known for writing musical theatre, stage musicals. She started performing in a band and writing songs when she was fourteen years old. This led to her career in the theatre. At the age of 23 Ward moved to London, and was signed by Warner-Chappell music publishing. She wrote a musical based upon the Passion (Christianity), passion of Christ, ''Behold The Man'', which was made into a film and screened across the ITV (TV network), ITV television network. She also wrote the critically lauded ''Nightshriek'' – for which she won the ''Time Out (magazine), Time Out'' Critics Award at the age of 16. In 2005, Ward composed the music, lyrics and book for a stage production/adaptation of ''Sleeping Beauty''. The musical premièred at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, Gaiety Theatre in May 2008. Jodie Prenger
Jodie Christine Prenger (born 12 June 1979) is an English actress and singer, best known for winning the second series of ''The Biggest Loser'' in 2006 and the BBC talent show '' I'd Do Anything'' in 2008, the latter of which subsequently launched her career in theatre. In 2022, she began portraying the role of Glenda Shuttleworth in the ITV soap opera, ''Coronation Street''. Jack Duckworth
Jack Duckworth is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Bill Tarmey. The character debuted on-screen during the episode broadcast on 28 November 1979. Jack was introduced by executive producer Bill Podmore. Tarmey had previously appeared as a background character in many episodes featuring scenes in the Rovers Return, including some occasional speaking lines. Martha Longhurst is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. She was played by Lynne Carol from the show's inception in 1960, from the second episode until the character's death in 1964. Creation and casting The character of Martha was conceived early on, when Tony Warren realised that the character he devised Ena Sharples ( Violet Carson) would need some drinking companions. Frank Barlow (Coronation Street)
Frank Barlow is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Frank Pemberton. As the head of the show's core Barlow family, Frank was one of the original twenty-one characters at the show's inception in 1960, along with wife Ida ( Noel Dyson) and sons Ken ( William Roache) and David (Alan Rothwell). Tim Driesen
Tim Driesen is a Belgian actor, notable for roles in both musicals, plays, and television serials. He has composed a full-scale musical as well as a number of pop-songs. In 2007, he created the role of Adrian Banks (a character based on pop-star Mark Owen) in the Take That musical, '' Never Forget''.
