''Storyteller'' is a puzzle video game designed by Daniel Benmergui and published by Annapurna Interactive. Gameplay ''Storyteller'' is a puzzle game in which players form story narratives by placing characters and scenes into picture book styled panels. Depending on how the characters, scenes and panels are arranged, the story and character motivations adapt accordingly, affecting the outcome of subsequent panels. For example, if a character dies in one panel, they will appear as a ghost in later panels. Daniel Benmergui is an independent video game development, independent game designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina known for the creation of art games such as ''Today I Die'', ''I Wish I Were the Moon'', and ''Storyteller (computer game), Storyteller''. Life and career Benmergui grew up at his childhood home in a rural area inland in Argentina. Benmergui spent much of his childhood exploring outdoors, and hanging out with much older children from his neighborhood.
