Stopover, Kentucky
Stopover is an unincorporated community in Pike County, Kentucky, United States that was established on August 14, 1949. It is at the junction of Kentucky Route 194 and Kentucky Route 2062 east of Phelps. Stopover had a post office with ZIP code 41568. The town's name came from its first postmaster who also owned the local general store. He would often tell people to "stop over and see" him. The town is home to a small country store and four churches: Shepard Memorial Presbyterian Church, Stopover Church of God, Stopover Freewill Baptist Church, and Camp Creek Pentecostal Church. The Stopover
''The Stopover'' () is a 2016 French film directed by Delphine and Muriel Coulin. It explores the tensions among a group of French soldiers returning from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, focusing on the experiences of three young women. The film premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section where the sisters won the award for Best Screenplay. Plot After a tour of duty in Afghanistan, a group of French soldiers are flown for a three-day stay at a luxurious beach hotel in Cyprus. The stay is not only for rest and relaxation, since the Army also uses the break to address the psychological effects of returning to France from a high-stress environment in which comrades have been wounded or killed. As well as enjoying themselves, the soldiers have to participate in group therapy sessions where individuals, sometimes painfully, are made to relive moments of danger and terror. This is a list of all '' The Professionals'' episodes, which comprises the following cast members: Gordon Jackson (George Cowley), Martin Shaw (Ray Doyle) and Lewis Collins (William Bodie). Since the deaths of Gordon Jackson and Lewis Collins in 1990 and 2013 respectively, Martin Shaw is the only surviving regular cast member of the show. Series overview The Professionals was produced by Brian Clemens's Avengers Mark 1 Productions for London Weekend Television (LWT) in five production blocks. These episodes were originally broadcast on the ITV network in a series of five scheduling runs. The transmission order of the episodes in these series was often different from the production order, but given that each episode was typically a self-contained story with no references to other episodes, this had little significance for viewers.
