Stoked (TV Series)
''Stoked'' (stylized as ''Stōked'') is a Canadian animated series produced by Fresh TV that premiered on Teletoon on June 25, 2009 and ended on January 26, 2013. It aired on Teletoon in Canada, ABC3 in Australia and on Cartoon Network in the United States. The series was created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis, who also created '' 6teen'' and the ''Total Drama'' series. Plot ''Stoked'' is a character-driven animated situational comedy about a group of groms who come together one summer on the legendary Surfer's Paradise Hotel in British Columbia to experience the ultimate surfer's dream—the endless summer. ABC3
ABC Entertains is an Australian free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It was launched on 4 December 2009 as a children's channel called ABC3. It was rebranded on 19 September 2016 to ABC ME. It rebranded once more on 3 June 2024 to ABC Entertains, now focusing on general entertainment programming. Sergio Di Zio is a Canadian actor. He starred in the television series '' Flashpoint'' as Michelangelo "Spike" Scarlatti until the show concluded on December 13, 2012. Burping (also called belching and eructation) is the release of gas from the upper digestive tract (esophagus and stomach) of animals through the mouth. It is usually audible. A grommet (grom, or gremmie) is a young participant in extreme sports. Originally, a grommet was a surfer under the age of 16. In recent years, this has expanded to include other extreme sports, most notably skiing, skateboarding, roller derby and snowboarding. Etymology The first contextual use of the word appears in a 1964 article by the journalist, Nicholas Tomalin, who on a visit to Newquay in Cornwall noted that: "A surfer who is no good or just beginning is a 'gremmie'."
