Stevie Plunder
Stevie Plunder, born as Anthony Hayes (15 August 196325 January 1996), was an Australian guitarist and singer-songwriter. He was a founding member of the groups, The Plunderers (1984–1995) and The Whitlams (1992–1996). Biography Early years Stevie Plunder was born as Anthony Hayes in Canberra on 16 August 1963 and grew up in the suburb of Narrabundah. His other musical brothers are Bernie, Pat and Justin Hayes (aka Justin Credible, Stanley Claret). Plunder left school at 15: he played in bands from his late teens, providing guitar and vocals. He was in a folk-pop group, Get Set Go, with Nic Dalton and a pair of sisters, Suzie and Jenny Higgie. In May 1984 Plunder, on guitar and vocals, and Dalton formed The Plunderers. The group issued one compilation album ''Banana Smoothie Honey'' (1992) and a handful of singles/mini-albums. Timothy James Freedman (25 November 1964) is an Australian musician, best known as the mainstay lead singer and keyboardist of the Australian band The Whitlams formed in 1993. Note: n-lineversion was expanded from the 2002 edition. The song "No Aphrodisiac", co-written by Freedman, was their break-through hit in 1997; their top four ARIA albums by sales are '' Love This City'' (1999), '' Torch the Moon'' (2002), ''Little Cloud'' (2006), and their compilation album '' Truth, Beauty and a Picture of You: Best of the Whitlams'' in 2008. Eternal Nightcap
''Eternal Nightcap'' is the third studio album by Australian rock band The Whitlams, first released by Black Yak Phantom in September 1997. The album peaked at number 14 on the ARIA charts and was certified gold, and then triple platinum. Single ''No Aphrodisiac'' was voted number 1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 in January 1997 and won Song of the Year at the 12th Annual ARIA Music Awards in 1998. Eternal Nightcap won Best Independent Release, and The Whitlams won Best Group. The band toured in support of the album and played 150 dates on the ''Learning Your ABC's National Tour'' presented by Triple J, Recovery and Rage. A limited edition vinyl LP of ''Eternal Nightcap'' was released in 2006, with only 500 copies being pressed. Falling Joys
Falling Joys are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Canberra in 1985. The original line-up included Suzie Higgie on lead vocals and guitar and Stuart G. Robertson on bass guitar. By the end of 1988 Higgie and Robertson, now on guitar, were joined by Pat Hayes on bass guitar and vocals, and Pete Velzen on drums. They have released three albums, ''Wish List'' (1990), ''Psychohum'' (1992) and ''Aerial'' (1993). Both the latter two albums reached the ARIA Albums Chart Top 50. They disbanded in 1995 but reunited in 2011 and, again, in July 2016.
