Steve Parker is an American artist, musician, and composer whose work blends sound sculpture, public performance, and interactive installations. His projects explore themes of ritual, ecology, and collective listening, often using salvaged musical instruments and custom-built sonic devices. Parker is the recipient of honors including Creative Capital Award, the Rome Prize, a Fulbright Program, Fulbright Fellowship, and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. Steven Franklin Parker (born December 8, 1956) is an American former professional football defensive end who played one season with the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Washington, North Idaho College, and the University of Idaho. Early life and college Steven Franklin Parker was born on December 8, 1956, in Spokane, Washington. He attended Coeur d'Alene High School in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Parker first played college football for the Washington Huskies of the University of Washington in 1976. He then played at North Idaho College in 1977. He transferred to play for the Idaho Vandals of the University of Idaho from 1978 to 1979 and was a letterman in 1979. He played college football at Triton College and Eastern Illinois University. Parker also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early life and college Steven Royce Parker was born on September 21, 1959, in Evanston, Illinois. He attended Evanston Township High School in Evanston. Steve Parker is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Steve Bastoni. In 2007, ''Neighbours'' decided to return to focusing more on family dynamics and the characters of Steve and his family were created and introduced to help boost falling ratings in Australia. Steve made his first on-screen appearance on 23 July 2007 along with his wife, Miranda Parker, and their daughter Bridget Parker. The family moved into Ramsay Street and Steve opened a veterinary practice in the Lassiters complex. Steve Parker is a British science writer of children's and adult's books. He has written more than 300 titles and contributed to or edited another 150. Life Born in Warrington, Lancashire, in 1952, Parker attended Strodes College, Egham and gained a BSc First Class Honours in Zoology at the University of Wales, Bangor. He worked as an exhibition scientist at the Natural History Museum, and as editor and managing editor at Dorling Kindersley Publishers, and commissioning editor at medical periodical GP, before becoming a freelance writer in the late 1980s.
