"Steppin' On" is a song by Australian group Sexing the Cherry, originally featured on the 1992 compilation album ''High (A Dance Compilation)''. The song was first released as a single in 1993, before being re-released as "Steppin' On Remix" in 1994, after which it peaked at number 42 on the ARIA Charts. As a DJ he pioneered the Brisbane dance music and club scene, along with DJ Angus and DJ Kesson, in the late 1980s. In the 1990s Edwin created the ''Halloween'' and ''Adrenalin'' dance parties and the all-female DJ party, ''Adrenalene''. He was a long-term resident DJ at The Beat and Rockafella's nightclubs in Fortitude Valley. Edwin wrote and produced electronic dance music and hard house under a variety of names including Mister Morrow, Eggo & Hot Pocket (with DJ Jen-E), Eco Cops, and Nu Guerilla. ''Heartbreak High'' is an Australian television programme created by Michael Jenkins and Ben Gannon that ran from 1994 to 1996 on Network Ten and 1997 to 1999 on ABC, for seven series. It was also partially funded from 1996 by BBC2, with some episodes airing in the UK ahead of their Australian release. The drama has been described as more gritty and fast-paced than many of its contemporaries, and follows the lives of students and staff at a multicultural Sydney high school.
