Stephen Fitzgerald (rugby Union)
Stephen Fitzgerald (born 13 November 1995) is an Irish former rugby union player, who played for his native province Munster and Connacht during his career. Fitzgerald played primarily as a fullback, but could also play on either wing, and represented Shannon in the All-Ireland League. Early life Born in Ardnacrusha, County Clare, Fitzgerald first began playing rugby aged 7 with Shannon. He attended Ardscoil Rís, Limerick and lost finals at both Junior and Senior Cup level with the school. He represented Munster in all under-age grades, as well as playing Under-19s and Under-20s with Ireland. Professional career Munster Fitzgerald made his debut for Munster on 13 September 2015, starting in the second game of the 2015–16 Pro12 against Ospreys and scoring a try. On 1 June 2017, it was announced that Fitzgerald had been promoted to the senior Munster squad ahead of the 2017–18 season. Ardnacrusha
Ardnacrusha () is a village in County Clare, Ireland, located on the northern bank of the River Shannon. By road, it is north of Limerick. The name derives from the phrase ''Ard na Croise'' meaning "the height of the cross", due to a large cross marker placed there in 1111 to mark the boundary of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limerick, Diocese of Limerick. At the 2022 census of Ireland, 2022 census, the population of the village was 1,229. Ardnacrusha is located near the site of the Ardnacrusha power plant, constructed in the 1920s. By 1935, it was producing 80 per cent of Ireland's electricity. The 2015–16 Pro12 (also known as the ''Guinness Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the fifteenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, and the sixth with its current four-country format. it was the second season to be referred to as the '' Guinness Pro12''. The twelve competing teams were the four Irish teams: Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster; two Italian teams: Benetton Treviso and Zebre; two Scottish teams: Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors and four Welsh teams: Cardiff Blues, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets. Scotland National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national under-20 rugby union team participates in the World Rugby Under 20 Trophy. Their highest placement is 5th which they achieved in the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The U20 side also compete in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Both tournaments began in 2008 and replaced the Under 19 or Under 21 championships. The World Rugby Under 20 Championship was known as the IRB Junior World Championship up to 2014. Prior to this, there were U19 and U21 tournaments for the World Rugby Championship. 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Championship was the eighth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised for the second time in Italy by rugby's governing body, World Rugby. Twelve nations played in the tournament, with matches hosted by Parma, Viadana, Calvisano and Cremona, host city of the final match. England went into the tournament as the two-time defending champions after they successfully defended their title in the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship (as the tournament was known through 2014). This was the first U20 Championship held after the sport's governing body changed its name from the International Rugby Board to the current World Rugby. Kyle Godwin (born 30 July 1992) is a professional rugby union footballer who plays for Zimbabwe national rugby union team, Zimbabwe in international rugby, having previously played one test for Australia national rugby union team, Australia in 2016.
