Misty Mountain at 1330 Angelo Drive (also known as the Stein House) is a large detached house in Beverly Glen, Los Angeles (not to be confused with the nearby city of Beverly Hills) standing in 6.5 acres of grounds with landscaped gardens and a swimming pool and tennis court. It was designed by Wallace Neff and built in 1926 for the film director Fred Niblo and his wife, the actress Enid Bennett. The house has been assessed for taxation purposes at 8,651 square feet with 11 bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It has been described as "crab shaped", with the design of the house curling around a motor court at its center. Neff's original floor plan for the house was described by ''Variety'' magazine as featuring an "elliptical entrance hall flanked by formal living and dining rooms, a library and a private guest bedroom with en suite bathroom and private entrance". The David Bachrach House, also known as Gertrude Stein House, is a historic home located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a late 19th-century Victorian style frame structure consisting of two stories plus a mansard roof in height. It was constructed about 1886 and occupied by David Bachrach (1845-1921), a commercial photographer who figures prominently in the annals of American photographic history. Also on the property is a one-story brick building on a high foundation that was built for Ephraim Keyser (1850-1937) as a sculpture studio about 1890 and a one-story brick stable. Ephraim Keyser and Fannie (Keyser) Bachrach were brother and sister. Earl Stein House
The Earl Stein House is a single-family home located at 209 Revere Street in Midland, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The house is significant as the first house designed through the Taliesin Fellowship program, established by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1933. History In early 1933, Earl Stein hired architect Alden B. Dow to design this house. Dow created some preliminary sketches, and brought them with him to start a fellowship at Taliesin with Frank Lloyd Wright. Under Wright's tutelage, Dow reworked the design multiple times. Dow completed the design later in 1933, and construction began in October. The house was completed in 1934. In the 1970s, bedrooms were added to the house in accordance with a plan by Dow.
