Londrina
Londrina (, literally "Little London") is a city located in the north of the state of Paraná (state), Paraná, South Region, Brazil, and is 388 km (241 miles) away from the state capital, Curitiba. It is the second largest city in the state and fourth largest in the southern region of the country, with 555.965 inhabitants in the whole municipality (2022). Paraná (state)
Paraná () is one of the 26 states of Brazil, in the Southern Region, Brazil, south of the country. Anne Perera
Anne Doloras Perera is a Sri Lankan–New Zealand food scientist and author. She was awarded the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology's J. C. Andrews Award in 2022. In 2024 Perera was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to food science and nutrition. Early life and education Perera is from Moratuwa in Sri Lanka. She attended school at the Our Lady of Victories convent, and then at the Holy Family Convent in Bamblapitiya. Perera studied agriculture at the University of Peradeniya, earning a Bachelor with Honours, and then received a Food and Agriculture Organisation scholarship to undertake a master's degree at the International Food Technology Training Centre in India, where she met her husband, Conrad Perera, also a food technologist.
