St Bede's Catholic College
St Bede's Catholic College is a secondary school located in Lawrence Weston, Bristol, England. Since November 2011 it has been an Academy. The school also received a rating of Good during an Ofsted inspection in October 2021. St Bede's takes students from Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Nailsea, Central Bristol, Bristol's outer suburbs, and most of South Gloucestershire. It has a strong partnership with St Brendan's Sixth Form College in Brislington. The school was awarded a green flag in the Eco School Awards in July 2004. Improvements include ICT rooms built in 2004 and the lecture theatre in 2005. Also, more recently, a large block of specialist Art, Food and Design and Technology classrooms were built by Skanska in 2009. As of 4 July 2012, St. Bede's were granted planning permission to build a Sixth Form building. The project was successfully completed in 2015. Secondary School

Diane Patricia Youdale (born 13 February 1970) is an English television personality, who is best known for her role as Jet on the television series ''Gladiators.'' Mike Barrett (footballer)
Michael John Barrett (12 September 1959 – 14 August 1984) was an English professional footballer who played as a winger for Bristol Rovers from 1979 until his death in 1984. Early life Barrett was born in Bristol and was a pupil at St Bede's Catholic College until 1978. After leaving school he had a trial with Bristol City, but was not offered a professional contract, leading him to play non-League football in Bristol for Shirehampton Sports. Eco-Schools is an international programme of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) that aims to “empower students to be the change our sustainable world needs by engaging them in fun, action-orientated, and socially responsible learning.” Each school follows a seven step change process and aims to “empowers young people to lead processes and actions wherever they can.” Over time and through commitment to the Eco-Schools Seven Step process, improvements will be seen in both the learning outcomes, attitude, and behaviour of students and the local community, and ultimately the local environment. Weston-super-Mare
Weston-super-Mare, also known simply as Weston, is a seaside town in North Somerset, England. It lies by the Bristol Channel south-west of Bristol between Worlebury Hill and Bleadon Hill. It includes the suburbs of Mead Vale, Milton, Oldmixon, West Wick, Worlebury, Uphill and Worle. Its population at the 2011 census was 76,143.
