Srpska Dobrovoljačka Garda
The Serb Volunteer Guard, SDG. Also known as Arkan's Tigers () or Arkan's men (). was an elite Serbian volunteer paramilitary unit founded and led by Željko Ražnatović (better known as "Arkan"). It was recognized for its superior bearing and discipline, fighting in the Croatian War and the Bosnian War during the Yugoslav Wars. Considered one of the most feared and effective paramilitary forces during the wars, the unit was also responsible for numerous war crimes and massacres. History and organization The SDG was created on 11 October 1990 by twenty members of the Red Star Belgrade football club Ultra group Delije Sever. Human intelligence (HUMINT, pronounced ) is intelligence-gathering by means of human sources and interpersonal communication. OT M-60
The OT M-60 is a Yugoslav armoured personnel carrier produced from 1962 to 1979. Development The OT (''Oklopni transporter - armoured personnel carrier'') M-60 was the first Yugoslav armored vehicle to enter serial production. Research and development began in 1956, and the first prototype was produced in June 1958. Prior to the commencement of serial production, the new armored personnel carrier was known as ''Objekat M-590''. Serial production started in 1962. The M-60 first appeared in public in that year's Victory Day parade. The quality of the vehicles did not satisfy the requirements of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), so FAMOS began development of an upgraded model, OT M-60P (P – poboljšani – "improved") which was introduced in 1970. BVP M-80
The BVP M-80 (), is a tracked Yugoslav-made infantry fighting vehicle, produced from the 1980s until the country's collapse in the 1990s. Development Early research and development of the M-80 began in 1969, with testing of the first completed prototype in 1974. It was first presented publicly in 1975. First examples of the BVP M-80 rolled out in 1979 but full entry to service happened in 1982. The first production variant was the M-80 which was only made in small numbers. The vehicle used a French-built engine with an output of 260 hp, the same engine as used in AMX-10P. After only a year, Yugoslavia started license production of Daimler-Benz's 315 hp engine in domestic FAMOS factories. This variant received a new designation as M-80A. The TAM 150 T11 B/BV is a general-purpose off-road lorry made by Slovenian vehicle manufacturer TAM-Europe, Tovarna avtomobilov Maribor (TAM). The six-wheel-drive lorry was designed for use by the Yugoslav People's Army, in the transport of personnel, weapons, and materials. Development In 1965, the Department for Traffic of the Ministry of Defense (Yugoslavia), Federal Secretariat of People's Defense, formed a workgroup to analyse the unarmored vehicles of the Yugoslav People's Army. A study was produced by the workgroup, which concluded that there were 129 different vehicle models in 320 types of service. M53/59 Praga
The M53/59 Praga is a Czechoslovak self-propelled anti-aircraft gun developed in the late 1950s. It consists of an armoured version of the Praga V3S six-wheel drive truck chassis, armed with a modified version of the M53 twin anti-aircraft gun mounted on the rear, which can be removed and used to provide ground support. In Czechoslovakia, it was known as Praga PLDvK vz. 53/59 (PLDvK Model 53/59). PLDvK stands for ''Protiletadlový dvojkanón'', or "twin anti-aircraft cannon". Vehicles for the export market were sold under the designation Praga M53/59 "Ještěrka" ("Lizard"). The BOV (), is an all-wheel drive armoured vehicle manufactured in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia and today in Serbia. The second generation BOV is currently in development. First generation Description The BOV has a capacity of 10, including a driver, gunner and eight infantrymen. The vehicle has a four-wheel drive and is powered by the Deutz AG, Deutz type F 6L 413 F six-cylinder diesel engine developing 150 hp (110 kW) at 2650 rpm. Service history The BOV was used for internal security and armed forces, military duties. Erdut
Erdut () is a village and a municipality in eastern Croatia some 37 km east of the major city of Osijek. Lying on the border with neighbouring Serbia, it was the site of the signing of the 1995 Erdut Agreement, which initiated the UNTAES transitional administration over the Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Syrmia. The village of Erdut is the third largest in the municipality, after Dalj and Bijelo Brdo. The municipality is part of the Osijek-Baranja County in eastern Slavonia.
