Srijit Mukherji's Cop Universe
''Srijit Mukherji's Cop Universe'' is an Indian media franchise and shared universe created by Srijit Mukherji, consisting of media focusing on police officers who predominantly solve cases of serial killers. The universe was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. The first film, ''Baishe Srabon'' (2011) focuses on Prabir Roy Chowdhury, an ex- DCP who is returned in his duty when incidents of serial killing begin in Kolkata. Srijit Mukherji (born 23 September 1977) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Bengali cinema. His regular collaboration with veteran actor Prosenjit Chatterjee brought him into the limelight.
