The Tanglin Club is a private members' club in Singapore. The club has 4,000 principal members and reciprocal partnerships with over 130 private clubs. Its memberships begins at $100,000. History The Tanglin Club was founded in 1865. That year, an interim committee was formed, and it comprised Thomas Dunman (president), Herbert Buchanan (vice-president), Lancelot C. Masfen, Jos. M. Webster, William Mulholland, Walter Oldham, Edwin A. G. C. Cooke and John R. Forrester. Only Europeans were admitted, and club members were mainly British. While the exact foundation date of the Tanglin Club is uncertain, it has been suspected that the date that had been determined by the Tanglin Club Centenary Celebrations Committee in 1865 was the most convenient day to hold the celebrations. Valentino Bong
Valentino Bon Jovi Bong (born 14 February 1989) is a professional squash player who has represented Malaysia. He is also a coach. Early life Bong was born on 14 February 1989 in Kuching, Sarawak in Malaysia. He was born to a Filipino mother, Cavite-native Gloria de Dios, and a Malaysian father who works as an officer at the Malaysian customs. Bong is the eldest child among four siblings. Playing career Valentino Bong has represented Malaysia in international tournaments. He has competed at the men's double event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and at the men's team event of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games where he helped his team win the gold medal. Teh Min Jie (born 12 May 1996) is a Malaysian female squash player who is a member of the Malaysian squash team. She is currently coached by Ong Beng Hee, a former Malaysian professional squash player. Teh Min Jie broke into the world's top 100 female squash players list in 2014 and achieved her career best ranking of 55 in March 2017 during the 2017 PSA World Tour.
