Spencer Brown (born February 28, 1998) is an American football offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Northern Iowa. Early life and high school Brown grew up in Lenox, Iowa and attended Lenox High School, where he played baseball, basketball, golf and ran track in addition to being a member of the school's eight-man football team as a defensive end and tight end. He played college football at UAB and holds multiple school career rushing records. He was signed by the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2021. Early years Spencer was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and attended Mortimer Jordan High School. As a senior he was selected to the first-team All-Birmingham list after he rushed for 1,972 yards on 304 carries and tallied 33 total touchdowns. He taught and did research at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1945 until his murder on June 10, 1977. Brown was internationally renowned and sometimes referred to as "Mr. Chromosome."
