Sparling's Propane
Sparling's Propane is Canada's oldest propane retailer. Founded in 1951 by Grant Sparling, Sparling's grew to be one of Canada's largest propane companies. Sparling's is headquartered in Blyth Ontario and continues to operate from six locations throughout the province. In 2013 Sparling's was sold to Parkland Corporation (TSX PKI. In 2024 Parkland sold their propane division (including Sparling's) to Avenir Energy Ltd. Blyth, Ontario
Blyth (; ) is a village in North Huron, Ontario, Canada. Blyth is north of London and west of Waterloo at the intersection of Huron County Road 4 (London Road) and Huron County Road 25 (Blyth Road). Blyth is also inland from Lake Huron. The 2016 Canadian Census showed Blyth had a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Despite its small size, Blyth has a significant national presence. The village attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to its world-renowned theatre, destination craft brewery and large municipal campground. Parkland Corporation (formerly Parkland Fuel Corporation) is a Calgary, Alberta-based energy and retail company.
