Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Un Blodymary" written by Manuel Ruiz Gómez "Queco". Las Ketchup is a Spanish girl group founded by flamenco record producer Manuel "Queco" Ruiz. The group, which consists of sisters Lucía, Lola, and Pilar Muñoz (later to be joined by a fourth sister Rocío), is best known for the 2002 hit single, "The Ketchup Song (Aserejé)", a single that sold over seven million copies worldwide. ''Operación Triunfo'' is a reality television talent show which first aired on Spain's TVE network in 2001. A music talent contest with viewer voting and reality show elements that originated Endemol's '' Star Academy'' franchise, the show aims to find the country's next solo singing sensation. ''Operación Triunfo'' (also known as ''OT'') first aired in 2001. Son de Sol (in English, ''Sound of the Sun'') is a Spanish flamenco-pop band, made up of three sisters (Sole, Esperanza and Lola León) from Écija, Seville, Andalusia. The trio represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, which was held in Kyiv.
