Spaceman (Babylon Zoo Song)
"Spaceman" is a song by British rock music, rock band Babylon Zoo, released on 15 January 1996 as the lead single from their debut album, ''The Boy with the X-Ray Eyes'' (1996). Featuring heavily distorted guitars and metallic, robotic sounding vocals, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at number one on 21 January 1996 following its use in a Levi's jeans television advertisement the previous year; "Spaceman" was the sixth song to reach number one in the UK after being featured in a Levi's advert. Babylon Zoo
Babylon Zoo were an English rock band formed in 1992 in Wolverhampton. Their song " Spaceman" gained considerable exposure through its use in a Levi's jeans television advert in the United Kingdom in late 1995. Released as the band's debut single on 21 January 1996, it entered the UK Singles Chart at number one. ''Lunar Jim'' is a Canadian science fiction stop-motion animated television series that aired from 2 January 2006 to 19 October 2007. The show focuses on Lunar Jim, an astronaut on the Blue Moon L22. The show, produced by Halifax Film Company and Alliance Atlantis in association with CBC Television, Radio-Canada and BBC Kids, was based on an original concept created by Alexander Bar. It ran from 1978 to 2006, and, after initially appearing monthly, was issued fortnightly during most of that time. The name survived as a brand for a spin-off digital television channel, which was later renamed Box Hits, and website. A digital radio station was also available but closed on 5 August 2013. Knebworth is a village and civil parish in the north of Hertfordshire, England, immediately south of Stevenage. The civil parish covers an area between the villages of Datchworth, Woolmer Green, Codicote, Kimpton, Whitwell, St Paul's Walden and Langley, and encompasses the village of Knebworth, the small village of Old Knebworth and Knebworth House. History There is evidence of people living in the area as far back as the 11th century as it is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 where it is referred to as Chenepeworde with a recorded population of 33 households and land belonging to Eskil (of Ware), a thegn of King Edward the Confessor.
