South Point School & College (), also known as SPSC, is a private school and Private College, college, founded in 2002, and based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has six branches, located in Baridhara, Malibagh, Mirpur Thana, Mirpur, Banani (town), Banani, Uttara Thana, Uttara and Shampur. The school was founded by Hamida Ali, former principal of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College. In 2009, the institution was recognized as the best educational institution by the Dhaka Board of Education. The school often appears in different newspapers with Hamida Ali appearing in most of them, even appearing in the front page of a ''Bangladesh Pratidin'' newspaper in 2020. The Junior School Certificate (JSC) was a public examination taken by students in Bangladesh after successful completion of eight years of schooling. It was introduced in 2010. It is followed by the Secondary School Certificate (SSC). Before the SSC was introduced, an exam was taken in its place (then known as Madhyamik Britti or Junior Scholarship). This was a voluntary vocational exam and not mandatory, which were later made mandatory and renamed as junior school certificate.
