Soudah Peaks
Soudah Peaks () is a planned mountain tourism destination project in Al Soudah, Soudah, Asir, Asir Province, Saudi Arabia. Soudah Peaks project is developed by Soudah Development Company (SDC), one of the companies founded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The $7.7 billion project was officially announced by Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in September 2023. It spans a total area of 627 km2 with an elevation of 3,015 m above sea level on Saudi Arabia's highest peak. As part of Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to diversify the Economy of Saudi Arabia, Saudi economy away from oil, SDC says that the project will create contribute more than $7.8 billion to Saudi Arabia's national Gross domestic product, GDP by the year 2033, in addition to creating thousands of jobs. Al Soudah
Soudah (Arabic: ٱلسّوْدَة) is a mountainous area in the Asir Province of Saudi Arabia. At 3,015 metres (9,893 ft) above sea level, it includes Saudi Arabia’s highest peak, Jabal Soudah. The area is known for its dense juniper tree covered mountains. Climate The climate of Soudah is moderate throughout the year with temperatures rarely exceeding 25 °C (77 °F) in the summer and not rising to more than 15 °C (59 °F) in the winter. Due to Soudah's altitude, the climate is around 10 °C (18 °F) cooler than the rest of Saudi Arabia. Overall, the area enjoys a cool variation of semi-arid climate (BSk) that borders a regionally rare warm-summer Mediterranean climate (Csb) due to the presence of a brief yet unnoticeable wet season that lasts from February to April. Rijal Almaa
Rijal Almaa or Rijal Almaa () is a village located in the Asir province, Saudi Arabia. It is about west of Abha, in the southwest of Saudi Arabia. The village is more than 900 years old. The village had an ideal location through which it linked the people coming from Yemen and the Levant through the Holy City of Mecca and Medina. As a result, it became a regional trade center.
