Solna Centrum Metro Station
Solna centrum is a metro station in Solna Municipality, approximately from central Stockholm, Sweden. It is close to the Solna Centrum shopping centre and Strawberry Arena. It opened on 31 August 1975 as part the first stretch of the Blue Line between T-Centralen and Hjulsta. The mall contains around 120 stores and restaurants, 40 offices and 214 apartments. Solna Municipality
Solna ( or , ), also known as Solna Municipality, is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in central Stockholm County, Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. Its seat is located in the town of Solna, which is a part of the Stockholm urban area. Solna is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Sweden. The municipality is part of Metropolitan Stockholm. None of the area is considered rural, which is unusual for Swedish municipalities, which normally are of mixed rural/urban character. Solna is the third-smallest municipality in Sweden in terms of area, after nearby Sundbyberg Municipality, Sundbyberg, as well as Burlöv Municipality, Burlöv, Scania County. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are sometimes used between the opposite-direction tracks on twin-track route stations as they are cheaper and occupy less area than other arrangements. They are also useful within larger stations, where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be accessed from opposite sides of the same platform instead of side platforms on either side of the tracks, simplifying and speeding transfers between the two tracks. Tvärbanan () is a light-rail, light rail line in Stockholm, Sweden, which runs largely in a semicircle south, west and north around central Stockholm - crosswise to the otherwise radial Stockholm Metro, metro and Stockholm commuter rail, commuter rail lines of Stockholm. It links together several transit lines through its connections with the southern, western and northern metro branches of the Stockholm Metro (''Tunnelbana'') as well as three branches of the Stockholm commuter rail (''Pendeltåg''). Strawberry Arena
Nationalarenan, known as Strawberry Arena since 2024 for sponsorship reasons, is a retractable roof multi-purpose stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. Located next to the lake Råstasjön in Solna, just north of the Stockholm City Centre, City Centre, it is the largest stadium in Scandinavia. Since its opening, the venue has served as Sweden's List of national stadiums, national stadium for men's football, hence the name ''Nationalarenan''. The main tenants of the stadium are Sweden's men's Sweden men's national football team, national football team and Allsvenskan football club AIK Fotboll, AIK; both relocated from their previous home at the Råsunda Stadium. T-Centralen
T-Centralen is the largest and busiest station on the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the Norrmalm district of central Stockholm, directly adjacent to Stockholm Central Station and Stockholm City Station, Stockholm City commuter train station. T-Centralen is also the name of the terminus for the Spårväg City tram line. T-Centralen is the only station in Stockholm Metro where all three metro lines converge. Hjulsta metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in Hjulsta, northern Stockholm. The station was opened on 31 August 1975 as the northern terminus of the first stretch of the Blue Line from T-Centralen.
