Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and '' sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Nuria Bages
Nuria Bages ( born Nuria Bages Romo on December 23, 1950) is a Mexican actress better known for her work in television and the stage. Active in Mexican television since the early 1980s, Bages became a household name after winning the role of Silvina in the long-running sitcom '' Dr. Cándido Pérez'', opposite Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo. With the married Pinedo she had long and tumultuous sentimental relationship that ended after the show went off the air. Orlando Edmundo Rodríguez Llorente (born 9 August 1984) is a Panamanian footballer. Club career Nicknamed ''Papi'', Rodríguez played the majority of his career for hometown club Árabe Unido. Ada Carrasco (14 September 1912 – 5 April 1994) was a Mexican film and television actress. Early life Carrasco was born in Mexico City, the daughter of Honorato Carrasco, an engineer, and the opera star Ada Navarrete. Abraham Stavchansky Altschuler (1 January 1933 – 5 March 2019), known as Abraham Stavans, was a Mexican actor and theater director. He was known for his work in film, telenovelas, and other television series, including the Mexican sitcom, ''El Chavo del Ocho''. Stavans appeared in more than thirty telenovelas and forty-five plays and theater productions during his career.
