Sofía Von Ellrichshausen
Sofía von Ellrichshausen (born 1976) is an Argentine-Chilean architect, artist, and educator. In 2002, she co-founded the art and architecture studio «Pezo von Ellrichshausen» in Concepción, Chile, Concepción, Chile, together with Mauricio Pezo. Their work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and the Venice Biennale of Architecture, and is part of the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Modern Art in New York. Education and academia Von Ellrichshausen was born in Bariloche, Argentina, in 1976. She holds a degree in architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, Universidad de Buenos Aires. Brutalist architecture is an architectural style that emerged during the 1950s in the United Kingdom, among the reconstruction projects of the post-war era.
