The song peaked at number 26 on the Sverigetopplistan, Swedish Singles Chart six months later due to her victory at Melodifestivalen 2012 with Euphoria (Loreen song), Euphoria. A remixed version of the song was included on Loreen's debut album ''Heal (Loreen album), Heal'' (2012). Album remix version received favorable reviews. Scandipop.co.uk claimed that the singles (including this song) don't ever "dip below being a 9.5 out of 10 moment." Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. History For the period of 1976 to 2006, the official Swedish music charts were published by Sveriges Radio P3, a station owned by Sveriges Radio. Melodifestivalen 2012 is a Swedish song contest that was held between 4 February and 10 March 2012. It selected the fifty-second Swedish entry to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 (ESC 2012). As in the editions between 2009–2011, a maximum of eight people were allowed on stage, while only persons of 16 years or over are eligible. However, in accordance with Eurovision rules, only six people were allowed on stage for the Swedish entry at Eurovision. The main singer(s) were required to perform vocals live on stage. However, other backing vocals can be prerecorded, along with the song's backing track. On 20 June 2011, SVT announced an open call for Melodifestivalen 2012, with some changes in the rules. "Euphoria" is a song performed by Swedish recording artist and songwriter Loreen. It was released on 26 February 2012 as the third single from her debut studio album '' Heal'' (2012). The song was written by Thomas G:son, Peter Boström and produced by Boström and SeventyEight. It is best known as Sweden's winning entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
