Smallville Season 9
The ninth season of ''Smallville'', an American television series, began airing on September 25, 2009. The series recounts the early adventures of Kryptonian Clark Kent as he adjusts to life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. The ninth season comprises 21 episodes and concluded its initial airing on May 14, 2010, marking the fourth season to air on The CW television network. After four seasons broadcasting on Thursday nights at 8:00 pm, ''Smallville'' was moved to Friday nights at 8:00 pm for season nine, to make room for ''The Vampire Diaries''. This season Clark takes his superhero persona into obsessive territory when he leaves behind those he cares for so that he can focus solely on Jor-El's training. Brian Wayne Peterson
Brian Wayne Peterson (born c. 1971/1972) is an American screenwriter, television producer, and showrunner. After finding success writing the script for 1999 film '' But I'm a Cheerleader'', he and his writing partner Kelly Souders wrote and produced the television series ''Smallville'', ''Beauty and the Beast, Salem, Genius'', and ''The Hot Zone''. Biography Peterson received a Master of Fine Arts in writing for screen and television from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 1997. It was here that he met Souders, where the two decided to form their writing partnership. Shortly after his graduation, Jamie Babbit, the director for ''But I'm a Cheerleader'', asked Peterson to write a script for her film after reading a story he had written about a gay cowboy. General Zod is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an List of Superman enemies, adversary of the superhero Superman. Metallo () is the name of different supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an List of Superman enemies, adversary of Superman. All versions of the character are powered by kryptonite and are partially or completely mechanical. In 2009, Metallo was ranked as IGN's 52nd-greatest comic book villain of all time.
