Slovakia, officially the Slovak Republic, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Lučenec
Lučenec (; ; ; ; Lelkes György (1992), Magyar helységnév-azonosító szótár, Balassi Kiadó, Budapest, 508 p.) is a town in the Banská Bystrica Region of south-central Slovakia. Historically, it was part, and in the 18th century the capital, of Nógrád County (former), Nógrád County of the Kingdom of Hungary. In 1920, as a result of the Treaty of Trianon, it became a part of Czechoslovakia. Spišská Nová Ves
Spišská Nová Ves (; ; ) is a town in the Košice Region of Slovakia. The town is located southeast of the High Tatras in the Spiš region, and lies on both banks of the Hornád River. It is the biggest town of the Spišská Nová Ves District. Tourist attractions nearby include the medieval town of Levoča, Spiš Castle and the Slovak Paradise National Park. Spišskí Rytieri SNV (in English: Spišskí Knights SNV) is a Slovak professional basketball club based in Spišská Nová Ves. Founded in 2004, the team currently plays in the Slovak Basketball League, the highest tier of basketball in Slovakia. The team has won one national championship, in 2021. The club was previously named BK Spišská Nová Ves, but in August 2020 its name was changed to Spišskí Rytieri. In the first season under the new name, Rytieri immediately won its first Slovak Basketball League championship ever. In the same season, the Slovak Cup was won as well, thus the team won the double. BC Prievidza is a professional basketball club based in playing in Prievidza, Slovakia. The team plays in the Slovak Extraliga. The club plays home games in the sports hall Niké Arena. History The team was founded in 1947 under the name Sokol Prievizda. In 1989 the club won its first ever title in the Czechoslovak Championship. Prievizda won another title four years later (1993), which was also the last edition of the Czechoslovak Championship.
