Sleep In The Water
''Sleep in the Water'' is the debut album by the Australian five-piece indie pop, dream band, Snakadaktal. It was released on 2 August 2013 through Liberation Music with Dann Hume producing. It peaked at No. 9 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Two singles were provided, "Hung on Tight" (June 2013) and "Fall Underneath" (November). In February 2014 ''The Sun II'' was released as an extended play, which included some remixes and unreleased songs from recording sessions for this album. The band had promoted it with a national tour in August to September 2013. It was the band's only studio album before splitting up in March 2014. Snakadaktal
Snakadaktal was an Australian five-piece indie pop/dream pop band, which formed in 2009 in Melbourne, Victoria and broke up on 16 March 2014. The band consists of Sean Heathcliff (guitar, vocals, synthesizers), Phoebe Cockburn (vocals, synthesizers) Joseph Clough (guitar), Jarrah Mccarty-Smith (bass), and Barna Nemeth (drums). History Snakadaktal were named the Triple J Unearthed High winners for 2011. Following their success on Triple J, the band signed a record deal with I Oh You Records. On 25 November 2011, Snakadaktal released their debut EP ''Snakadaktal'' with I Oh You. The Stables Recording Studio
The Stables Recording Studio was the original name of the recording studio now known as Red Moon Studios, located in Australia's Macedon Ranges. It was originally owned by Evermore front man Jon Hume) and was designed and built for the recording of Evermore's albums but has since been used by many other artists. Dann Hume
Dann Hume (born 1 September 1987) is a New Zealand musician, music producer, mix engineer and songwriter. Hume began his career with his two brothers (with Peter Hume and Jon Hume) who make up the alternative rock band, Evermore since 1999. Biography Dann is the youngest brother of the Hume family. In 1999 the brothers formed Evermore in Feilding. He has co-written songs for Evermore such as "Running", " Light Surrounding You" as well as the first single from ''Dreams'', " It's Too Late". Soon after the release of Evermore's fourth studio album '' Follow the Sun'' in late 2012, Dann stepped away from touring with the band to focus on his music production.
