May Skaf
May Skaf () (April 13, 1969 – July 23, 2018) was a Syrian actress and activist. She began her career in 1991. Skaf acted in many series and movies such as '' Al-Ababeed'' in 1997, '' Maraya'' in 1998 and ''Omar'' in 2012. Skaf was known for her opposition to Syrian regime, she was labeled ''The rebellious artist'', ''The Free artist'' and ''Revolution icon''. She died in July 2018 in Dourdan, France from a heart attack. Early life and career Skaf was born to a Christian family in Damascus, She studied French literature at Damascus University. Her dad was Syrian and her mom Lebanese. Skaf started to act in many French plays, when in 1991 she got the attention of director Maher Keddo, who chose her for the main role in his film ''Sahil aljehat'' (Neigh of direction). She worked with director Abdellatif Abdelhamid who offered her a role in his movie ''Rise of rain'' in 1995. Her first role in TV was in ''A crime in memory'' in 1992. Paulo Skaf
Paulo Antônio Skaf (born August 7, 1955) is a Brazilian entrepreneur and politician, who previously served as President of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) and the President of the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (CIESP), both industrial interest groups and corporate trade unions. Skaf primarily works in real estate and construction. Skaf ran for governor of São Paulo three times, each time losing in the first round to a member of the PSDB. His best showing was in 2014, when he achieved second place in the first round against Geraldo Alckmin, but won no municipalities. Affiliated to Republicans of incumbent Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, Skaf previously was a member of the Brazilian Socialist Party and the Brazilian Democratic Movement. SKAF (automobile)
SKAF (also spelled as ''S.K.A.F.'') was a prototype automobile designed by engineers Stefan Kozłowski and Antoni Frączkowski. Its creators established the SKAF car manufacturing company in 1920, based in Warsaw, Poland. Three prototypes of the car were made between 1923 and 1924. It never entered mass production. It was the first car designed and manufactured in the Second Polish Republic, since the declaration of its independence in 1918. History In 1920, engineers Stefan Kozłowski and Antoni Frączkowski founded an automobile manufacturing company, with the factory located at 23 Rakowiecka Street, in Warsaw, Poland. They had designed a SKAF car, with the name coming from their initials.
