Sister (American Band)
Sister was an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1976. Though the band was only together for approximately two years and never achieved any measure of success, after its breakup ex-members Blackie Lawless and Nikki Sixx found international success with the bands W.A.S.P. and Mötley Crüe respectively. Lawless had previously played guitar with the New York Dolls for a handful of live shows before that band broke up in 1976. Overview Though the band never officially released any material, Sister has obtained some measure of notoriety for pioneering the fusion of occult symbology such as the pentagram with a theatrical heavy metal performance inspired by Alice Cooper. Vincent Damon Furnier (born February 4, 1948), known by his stage name Alice Cooper, is an American rock singer and songwriter whose career spans sixty years. Steven Adler
Steven Adler (born Michael Coletti; January 22, 1965) is an American musician. He was the drummer and co-songwriter of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s. Adler was fired from Guns N' Roses over his heroin addiction in 1990, following which he reformed his pre-Guns N' Roses band Road Crew and briefly joined BulletBoys. During the 2000s, Adler was the drummer of the band Adler's Appetite, and from 2012, he had held the same position in the band Adler. In early 2017, he declared that he had no intention to continue with the band and that the band has been dissolved, with the reason being his lack of interest in performing during poorly attended concerts. Fred Coury
Fred Coury (born October 20, 1967) is an American musician best known as the drummer for the glam metal band Cinderella. Coury lists Neil Peart, Peter Criss, Bobby Blotzer, John Bonham, Eric Carr, Tommy Lee and Tommy Aldridge as his drumming inspirations. Early years Coury was born in Johnson City, New York, to a Lebanese family. At age 5, Coury started taking violin lessons. At age 6 he participated in his first public performance. Between the ages of 7 and 9 he studied at the Beirut Conservatory of Music in Beirut, Lebanon. At age 10, he added the trumpet to his repertoire. Finally, at age 12 he started to play the drums. Jeffrey Dean Isbell (born April 8, 1962), known professionally as Izzy Stradlin, is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was a co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and backing vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he recorded four studio albums and left at the height of their fame in 1991. Following his departure from Guns N' Roses, Stradlin fronted his own rock band, Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds, before continuing to record as a solo artist.
