Sigmund Ahnfelt
Major General Sigmund Ahnfelt (28 November 1915 – 14 November 1993) was a Swedish Army officer. Ahnfelt was commissioned as an officer in 1938 and served in the Finnish Army during World War II. He attended the United States Army Command and General Staff College from 1949 to 1950 and followed the operations of the UN troops in Korea during the Korean War in 1951. He eventually became commander of Älvsborg Regiment in Borås in the 1960s and then served as chief of staff and Deputy Commanding General of the Southern Military District. Ahnfelt served as Commanding General of the Bergslagen Military District until his retirement in 1979. Sollentuna Municipality (; ) is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Stockholm County in east-central Sweden, north of Stockholm. Norra Latin
Norra Latin is the familiar Swedish name of a historic Stockholm school more properly known as ''Högre allmänna läroverket för gossar å Norrmalm'' ("public senior secondary school for boys at Norrmalm"). Completed in 1880, for over a hundred years the school, at 71b Drottninggatan in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, offered an education that emphasized Greek, Latin and classical studies. The school was formed by a merger that included ''Klara gamla skola'' on Klara västra kyrkogata and ''Stockholms gymnasium'' on the island of Riddarholmen. Sven Olov Lindholm
Sven Olov Knutsson Lindholm (8 February 1903 – 26 April 1998) was a Swedish Nazi leader, active in far-right politics from the 1920s to the 1950s. This included leading the Nazi party named Svensk socialistisk samling (SSS; literally "Swedish Socialist Union"); despite its name, this party was widely regarded as propagating a fascist/Nazi ideology. In later years, during the 1970s and 1980s, he renounced his former anti-semitism, and stated he believed the Holocaust perpetrated by Nazi Germany had happened and that it was a crime. He quit the Nazi movement, and became a supporter of the political left and the peace movement. United Nations Emergency Force
The United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) was a military and peacekeeping operation established by the United Nations General Assembly to secure an end to the Suez Crisis, Suez Crisis of 1956 through the establishment of international peacekeepers on the border between Egypt and Israel. Approved by Resolution 1001 (ES-I) of 7 November 1956, the UNEF was developed in large measure as a result of efforts by Secretary-General of the United Nations, UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld and a proposal from Canada, Canadian Minister of External Affairs Lester B. Carl August Ehrensvärd (1892–1974)
General, Count Carl August Ehrensvärd (3August 1892 – 24April 1974) was a Swedish Army officer. Ehrensvärd came from a distinguished family with a military background. His father was Admiral, Count Carl August Ehrensvärd, and his great-grandfather was the renowned fortress builder Augustin Ehrensvärd. Ehrensvärd's career in the military began in 1911 when he became an officer volunteer in the Svea Life Guards. He served in various capacities in both the Swedish and Finnish armies, participating in the Invasion of Ã…land in 1918 and commanding the Archipelago Free Corps. The Royal Swedish Army Staff College (, KHS) was a Swedish Army training establishment between 1866 and 1961, providing courses for army officers. It was the home of the Swedish Army's staff college, which provided advanced training for officers. It was located within the Stockholm Garrison in Stockholm, Sweden. was an originally Swedish-language newspaper, published in California from 1887 to 2007. It was founded as ''Ebenezer'', a church news bulletin by Augustana Lutheran pastor Johannes Telleen, but it soon changed focus and became a newspaper after he gave it over to editor and typesetter Alrik G. Spencer. For most of its run, it was a weekly newspaper published in San Francisco.
